Conventional Wisdom

From the start the conventional wisdom has been
this is a format war. We would like to advance an
unconventional idea. Be believe that the market is
large enough to support both HD DVD and Blu-Ray
formats. When the original DVD format came out it
was important everyone be on the same page as
there was no DVD market. Now with both formats
that this can only build on DVD market.
This this isn't a who wins or who looses the
supposed format war, but it's about the consumer
having a choice. Hollywood studios should be
putting out titles on both formats and not taking
sides and letting the consumer ultimately decide
witch best suits them.
Retailers and other sources have been giving the
advice to consumers to wait and see who comes out
on top, witch we think that hurt the HD DVD format
because of those consumers that held back from
buying. We don't subscribe to the belief that the HD
DVD format has failed. It only has been dealt a
setback. With your help, we together can make this a
viable format now and into the future.
